The Evaluation of the Mineral Inventories

The preset work is generally referred to the evaluation, for conventional methods of the mineral inventory and the metallic structures of underground exploitation, which includes the auriferous mining.

It is cosidered that the criteria and procedures are general and not permanent; they must be updated according to the advaces of techology.

Classification of the Minerals

Mineral Class According To Its Substance

Tested. This is the one which virtually has no existence of any risk of discontinuity between the sampled faces.

Probable. This is the one in which the factor of risk is most probable than the one indicated for the tested mineral, but that has sufficient geological evidence to suppose the continuity of the mineral.

Prospective. This is the one that has more of a factor of risk than the one indicated for the tested mineral, but that has sufficient geological evidence to suppose the continuity of the mineral.

Potential. Is the one, whose estimate is based principally on the broad knowledge of the geological structure of the structure, its exposition depends on direct indications.

Mineral Classes According to Their Accessibility
Accessible.
These are the ones which are found intercepted by the mining labors (galleries, chimneys, pikes, etc.) And that are generally ready to enter the preparation stage. They are considered reserves when their value is above the total costs of the operation.

Eventually Accessible. (Partially Accessible). Are the ones which are not found expedited for their immediate exploration, being constituted by locks which are not accessible. These are considered reserves if the development costs to make them accessible are below the total costs of the normal operation.

Inaccessible. Are those whose position of space is similar to the one indicated for the eventually accessible, these minerals are those in which the amount of the investment for its access plus the total cost of the normal operation is not covered by the prices of these minerals, in which they cannot be constituted as reserves.
